Cascina Boccaccio is a small family-run winery, located in the municipality of Tagliolo Monferrato, in the province of Alessandria. We are located in thePiedmontese Alto Monferratoin the south-eastern part of this region, not far from Genoa. Here Roberto Porciello, owner of the winery, dedicates himself to the creation of labels that tell of the terroir of Ovada, helped in the daily operations by his wife Ileana. Cascina Boccaccio is a young winery, whose history, however, has its roots in ancient times, more precisely in 1875, when Roberto's great-grandfather, Celso, built the foundations of the current winery. The wines of the Cascina, where obviously the lion's share is played by Dolcetto, which reaches interesting heights of quality right in Ovada, are tactile, warm and energeticThey are tactile, warm and energetic, and, very importantly, "gastronomic", meaning that they are well suited to any type of pairing, even with dishes prepared with important recipes.
