The "Derthona" is the label of entry into the magical universe of Timorasso interpreted by the brave and revolutionary spirit that answers to the name of Daniele Ricci. A winemaker with heart and passion who has taken over the vineyards of his grandparents Carlo and Clementina, with the noble aim of saving them from intensive agronomic drift and leaving them as a dowry to his son Matteo in their purest and most regenerated form.

Daniele Ricci's "Derthona" is much more than just a basic Timorasso (indeed, don't you dare call it by that name in front of its creator!). Although it is the youngest and "simplest" of the family, it is not at all shy and introverted and already has a golden, bright and brilliant appearance, the result of a 3-day maceration on the skins. Vinification continues with a 12-month aging in 500-liter acacia wood barrels that enriches the liquid with intense, sophisticated and elegant notes. Only a sensitive, caressing, on tiptoe approach, like Daniele's, can produce oenological juices so full of life, verve and flair.
