Garganega is one of the oldest indigenous vines of the area. It makes particular use of the volcanic soil, composed of basalt and clay, which is particularly rich in minerals. It is a vine whose flavour is strongly influenced by vinification, while in the vineyard it stands out for its clearly recognizable bunches and its enveloping golden and pinkish reflections. Amber yellow in colour with a lovely bouquet of white flowers, sweet almonds and a hint of citrus. On the palate it is dry, warm, enveloping, soft tannins, earthy and almondy. Recommended serving temperature 12-14 degrees. Maceration on the skins for 30 days, fermentation without the addition of yeasts in stainless steel vats. Ideal with meat or fish dishes, vegetarian options especially with mushrooms or asparagus, also excellent with cheese.
